典籍是各民族创造的文明和文化的精髓,典籍的翻译对于弘扬民族文化、增进国际间的交流起着非常重要的作用。以文化图式理论为基础,以中国古典名著《红楼梦》英译为例来探讨中国典籍英译的问题。

Classics are the essence of national civilization and culture, translation of classics is of great significance to carry forward national culture and promote international exchanges. Based on the theory of cultural schema, this paper discusses the problems of English translation of Chinese classics, taking the English translation of Chinese classics ＂ Hong Lou Meng＂ as an example.
