Adaption of hospital operational mechanism and service model to reform development includes these important aspects: improve service protocol on the basis of increased awareness of the bio/psycho/social/spiritual wholeness of service client, or a realization of the ambiguities and complexities that characterize service client' s life; increase person - to - person interaction in addition to technical framework of care; produce professionals who will have, not only professionally tuned clinical skills, but also a profound understanding of broader humanities; research the comparative advantages of traditional, conventional, new and high - tech services to distinguish between those that are cost - effective and those that are reater expensive but offer little incremental benefits for concrets cases; evaluation of adequate service performance should contain the adequacy of health education of clients for them to be partners in promoting their health and using the health care system appropriately.
