热带气旋生成问题研究综述

REVIEW OF THE STUDIES ON TROPICAL CYCLONE GENESIS

热带气旋可以造成严重自然灾害。在全球变暖的气候背景下,热带气旋生成问题成为当前国际热带气旋研究领域的学术热点和难点。从热带气旋生成的环境条件、大尺度扰动源、重要物理机制和热带气旋生成期的定义等几个方面,较系统地回顾总结了国内外关于热带气旋生成相关研究的主要进展,特别是近年来关于热带气旋生成过程中多尺度相互作用机制的研究新成果,并提出当前亟需研究的一些科学问题。

Tropical cyclones （TCs） can bring about severe natural disasters. Under the background of global warming, TC genesis has been a popular and difficult topic for the atmospheric science research. In this paper, a general review of the studies on TC genesis is given systematically, including some well-accepted environment conditions, large scale disturbances, important physical mechanisms, and the classification of the genesis stage. Particularly, the recent international and domestic progresses on the multi-scale interaction are discussed. Moreover, what remains to be solved and what should be focused on in the future are suggested.
