"皮肤滥淫"、"意淫"是两种相互对立的对于女性和两性关系的态度与方式。皮肤滥淫的本质是动物本能异化,意淫则体现了人文精神。西门庆属典型的"皮肤滥淫",而贾宝玉则是"意淫"的代表者。《源氏物语》的主人公光源氏的身上却同时兼具"皮肤滥淫"与"意淫"两种特征,呈现出了人性与兽性的纠结:贾宝玉的禀赋,西门庆的行为。这是一对不可调和的矛盾,光源氏自始至终都处于这一对矛盾带来的痛苦、徬徨与困惑之中。促使源氏最终由西门庆向贾宝玉转化的是《源氏物语》的女主人公——紫姬。源氏对紫姬的感情逐渐地向爱情转化、发展,但这个过程非常艰难曲折,紫姬的死让他幡然醒悟,完成了人性的救赎。
"Fleshly lust" and "spiritual lust" are two kinds of antithetical attitudes towards females and sexual relations. In essence, fleshly lust is alienation of animal instinct, while spiritual lust incarnates humani- ty. XI Men-qing exemplifies the former, and JIA Bao-yu, on the other hand, serves a good example on "spirit- ual lust". However, Hikaru Genji, the hero of Genshi Monogatali is characterized by both "fleshly lust" and "spiritual lust". Entangled by humanity and brutality, he embodies JIA Bao-yu's nature and XI Men-qing's be- havior. It is a pair of irreconcilable contradiction that keeps bringing Hikaru Genii distress, wander and per- plexity. It is Murasaki, the heroine in the fiction, that prompts Hikaru Genii to swift from XI Men-qing to JIA Bao-yu. Hikaru Genji's feelings towards Murasaki transform and develop into love gradually. However, the process of the transformation is so arduous that it finishes at the expense of Murasaki's death. Death disilludes Hikaru Genji and accomplishes the redemption of humanity.
