Adjustment of the Rural Industrial Mix in Northeastern China and Countermeasures

改革开放以来，东北地区的农村产业结构发生了很大的变化，农村经济结构中的矛盾得到了有效的解决。但我们还应看到，在今后相当长的一段时间内，东北农村经济的发展仍然面临着许多制约因素。因此，面向２１世纪，为了使东北农村经济获得更大的发展，必须进一步优化农村产业结构，按照发展“高产、优质、高效”农业的方针，坚持以市场为导向，以效益为中心，依靠大科技，发展大农业，向结构调整和优化上要效益。

Since China's reform and opening-up, the rural industrial structure in Northeastern China has beed greatly changed with the result that problems in the rural economic structure have been effectively dealt with. However, people have to be aware that a number of factors re strieting the rural economic development of Northeastern China will continue to be in exis tence for a fairly long time to come. Therefore, with an orientation towards the 21st centu ry, China should make efforts to further optimize its rural industrial structure so as to gain a better development of its Northeastern agricultural economy. To make the most of structural adjustment and optimization in its attempt to build a big agriculture, China shoulds stick to its policy of developing the agriculture with 'high quantity, high quality, and high efficiency. ' Emphasis will thus be put on the leading role of market as well as the indispensability of advanced sciellce and technology.
