摘要
目的探讨甲状腺乳头状癌中S100A4和MMP-13蛋白表达及两者与甲状腺乳头状癌侵袭和转移的关系。方法采用免疫组织化学技术,分别检测80例甲状腺乳头状癌及20例正常甲状腺组织中S100A4和MMP-13蛋白的表达。结果 S100A4蛋白在甲状腺乳头状癌中的阳性率为80.0%(64/80),明显高于正常甲状腺组织10%(2/20),两者比较,差异有显著性(P<0.01);S100A4蛋白在淋巴结转移组中的表达阳性率为95.65%(44/46),在非淋巴结转移组中的表达率为58.82%(20/34),两者之间存在显著差异(P<0.01);MMP-13在甲状腺乳头状癌中的阳性率为46.25%(37/80),明显高于正常甲状腺组织5%(1/20),差异有显著性(P<0.01)。MMP-13在淋巴结转移组中的表达阳性率为65.2%(30/46),在非淋巴结转移组中的表达率为20.59%(7/34),两者之间差异有显著性(P<0.01)。26例浸润包膜组的S100A4与MMP-13蛋白表达率分别为96.15%(25/26)和65.38%(17/26),54例未浸润包膜组的表达率分别为72.22%(39/54)和37.04%(20/54),两者比较,差异有显著性(P<0.05);S100A4和MMP-13蛋白表达均与性别、年龄无关。S100A4和MMP-13表达明显正相关(P<0.05)。结论 S100A4和MMP-13蛋白均与甲状腺乳头状癌的侵袭转移有关,两者联合检测可能作为评价甲状腺乳头状癌预后的重要指标。
Objective To study the expression of S100A4 and MMP-13 and to understand their relationship with tumor invasion and metastasis in papillary thyroid carcinoma. Methods The expressions of SI00A4 and MMP-13 in 80 cases of papillary thyroid carcinoma tissue and in 20 cases of normal thyroid tissue were detected by Immunohistochemical techniques. Results The positive expression rate of SI00A4 protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma was 80.0C/c ( 64/80 ) and 10% ( 2/20 ) in normal thyroid tissue. Positive rate of S100A4 was 95.65% (44/46) in lymph node positive group and 58.82% (20/34) in lymph node negative group. There were significant differences be tween the 2 groups( P 〈0.01 ). The positive expression rate of MMP-13 protein in papillary thyroid carcinoma was 46.25% ( 37/80 ) and 5% (1/20) in normal thyroid tissue. Positive rate of MMP-13 was 65.2% (30/46) in lymph node positive group and 20.59% (7/34) in lymph node negative group. There were significant differences between the 2 groups( P 〈 0.01 ). The positive expression rate of S100A4 and MMP-13 protein in 26 cases of invasive capsular group was 96.15% (25/26) and 65.38% (17/26) ,and 72.22% (39/54) and 37.04% (20/54) in the group without infihration. There were significant differences between the 2 groups ( P 〈 0.05 ). SI00A4 and MMP-13 expression had no correlation with sex and age. There was distinct positive correlation between the expression of S100A4 and MMP-13. Conclusion TheS100A4 and MMP-13 protein were highly expressed in papillary thyroid carcinoma, the expression has correlation with lymph node metasta- ses. Combined detection of S100A4 and MMP-13 may serve as the important indicator of prognosis.
