The references or citations of literature reflect internal relationships of scientific documents. The success of the creation and establishment of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index filled a gap at home and abroad. It is not only an important information database for Chinese literature searching in social sciences and humanities, but also a main assessment tool for Chinese Social sciences research and academic periodicals. It has the functions in information retrieving and statistical analysis for social sciences research papers by bibliometric method.
