根据我国自然资源的禀赋、农村人口及经济发展状况 ,中国农业可持续发展的途径应是发展生态农业、实现农业产业化、加快农业科技进步。中国生态农业技术应既继承中国传统 ,又接受现代技术 ,保持鲜明的中国特色。当前中国农业产业化应着重于组织创新与微观农业产业化环节 ,即一方面建立有效率的经营组织 ,一方面发展适度规模经济。加快农业科技进步的措施是加强投入、加快科技创新与变迁、建立有中国特色的“三农”
