对地方本科院校大学英语分级教学必要性的思考

On Graded Teaching of College English in Local Universities

根据《大学英语课程教学要求》的精神,结合地方本科院校普遍存在的师资、教学条件和学生的英语水平、英语接受能力、个性化发展以及素质教育需求等因素,探讨和研究地方本科院校对大学英语实施分级教学的必要性以及改革的相关措施。

There exist such problems as critical shortage of faculty, insufficient infrastructure and teaching condition, students＂ different English proficiency and different English learning ability in local universities. All these make it hard to improve college English teaching and to meet the demand of individual development and quality education. To solve the problems existing in local universities of inefficient teaching of college English, this paper aims at the research on the teaching reform of graded teaching of college English and its relevant improvement measures.
