新闻宣传在推动高校改革发展中发挥着极其重要的作用。目前,地方高校在面对社会的新闻宣传工作中还存在宣传理念落后、工作思路陈旧、宣传策划不足、工作机制缺项、队伍羸弱等问题,削弱了高校的知名度和影响力。要充分发挥新闻宣传工作对高校科学发展、跨越发展的促进作用,还需要创新新闻宣传工作思路,精心组织新闻宣传工作的策划,挖掘特色资源突出宣传亮点和重点,密切与大众传媒的沟通与通联,加强对新闻宣传工作队伍建设与培养。

News promotion plays a vital role in promoting the reform and development of universities. Currently, local universities still have such problems in news promotion work as old-fashioned concept, poor work ideas, insufficient promotion strategies, missing working mechanism and a weak group, which in turn weakens fame promotion and influence of universities. In order to display the promoting role of news promotion in local universities＇ scientific development and leap-forward development, the universities need to strengthen and improve news promotion by innovating work ideas, organizing the planning carefully, digging the characteristic resources and highlighting the bright spot and focal point, maintaining close contact with communication with mass media and strengthening the team construction and cultivation.
