In presents a Kalman filter method with equality constraints. Some equality constraints of the parameters are set up and introduced into the Kalman filter equation as restraint conditions. In some slope monitoring applications, the aspect and the down direction of slope are known information, which can improve the accuracy and reliability of the filter. Finally, an example shows that this method serves as certain effectiveness and feasibility.
