On Adaptation Issues of Migrant Ethnic Population to Urban Culture

处于城市化进程中的少数民族成员在进入城市后,只有在适应城市文化的理念及其行为方式,将民族文化和城市文化有机整合起来,才意味着他们真正实现了城市化。文章分析了少数民族流动人口文化适应的一般模式及其存在的问题,并指出要较好实现文化适应,提高适应能力,一方面,城市少数民族流动人口要积极发挥个体能动性;从另一方面来讲,政府和社区需要建立健全外部支持和保障措施。

During the process of urbanization, when ethnic people come into the cities, they can really realize their urbanization only if they adapt to urban cultural notions and behavior, and combine ethnic culture and urban culture. The article analyzes the normal modes and problems of cultural adaptation of migrant ethnic population, puts forward the idea that in order to realize a better cultural adaptation and improve the adaption ability, the migrant ethnic people in cities should be active themselves, at the same time governments and communities should better their support and security measures.
