The Choice and Development of Chinese National Culture in the Context of Globalization

全球化背景下,世界文化发展在高度相关和互动的基础上,既表现出趋同的一面,又表现出离异的一面。这给中国民族文化发展带来了机遇,也造成了挑战。顺应这一趋势,扩大文化领域对外开放,提高国际影响力,既要确认文化共识,又要抵制"文化演变";既要承认世界文化多样性,又要强调民族文化主体性;既要积极吸收借鉴国外优秀文化成果,又要坚决抵制和防范腐朽落后思想;既要推动中华文化走向世界,又要反对民族文化中心主义。

In the context of globalization,the world cultural development shows both convergence and divorce.This brings opportunities to the development of Chinese national culture and also poses some challenges.Conforming to this trend,we should expand our openness to the outside world,emphasize the cultural consensus and counter'cultural evolution'as well.We should acknowledge cultural diversity and emphasize cultural subjectivity.We should actively absorb foreign excellent cultural achievements,resist and prevent corruption and backward thought to promote Chinese culture to go to the world and oppose the national cultural centerism.
