摘要
过程体裁教学法在英语专业阅读教学中的应用还十分有限,通过在英语专业二年级的学生中应用该教学方法,帮助学生培养起语篇的整体体裁意识,提高学生的阅读技能。采用定量的研究方法对所在院校英语专业二年级两个自然班的学生进行实验。结果表明,接受了过程体裁教学法的学生可以较好地理解文章的意图和主旨,正确回答主观的观点题和推断题,提高了理解能力和阅读速度。
The application of process genre approach to reading teaching remains limited. This paper aims to apply this approach to the sophomores of English majors to guide them to build up the genre awareness, and improve the reading skills. Experiments are carded out in the two classes in English department of Guangdong University of Finance, in which quantitative method is adopted. The research results reveal that the process genre approach can help students better understand the chief idea of the article, answer the Subjective questions about idea or deduction more successfully, and improve students' comprehension and reading speed.
