口腔正畸诊室1993～1999年矫治器类型及拔牙比率的纵向研究

STUDY ON APPLIANCE TYPES AND TOOTH EXTRACTION RATE AT THE AFFILIATED STOMATOLOGY HOSPITAL OF SHANDONG MEDICAL UNIVERSITY IN 1993～1999

目的 :了解山东医科大学附属口腔医院正畸科矫治器使用情况及矫治观念对拔牙比率的影响。方法 :从 1993～ 1999年每隔 1年随机取出 50份病历 ,计算每一病例所用矫治器类型及拔牙比率。结果 :活动矫治器及功能矫治器的使用比率大致稳定 ,双圆管及Begg矫治器使用分别从 6 0 %、12 %降至 0。标准方丝弓矫治器从 1993年的 4 %上升至 1997年的 6 6 % ,再降至 1999年的 4 8%。直丝弓矫治器从 1993年的 0上升至 1999年的 30 %。拔牙比率从 1993年的 4 8%升至 1995年的 78% ,再降至 1999年的 34%。结论 :矫治器的选择与矫治器的国产化及医生认识水平有关 。

Objective:To know the utilization of appliance types and the influence of orthodontic ideas on tooth extraction rate at dept.of orthodontics of the affiliated oral hospital of Shandong Medical University. Methods:Fifty cases were randomly chosen every other year,from 1993 to 1999,and then utilization ratio of appliances and tooth extraction rate were calculated. Results:From 1993 to 1999,the utilization ratios of removable and functional appliances were stable.The utilization ratios of two round tube and Begg appliances were 60% and 12% in 1993 respectively,but these two types of appliances were not used in 1999.The utilization ratio of standard edgewise appliances was 4% in 1993,which rose to 66% in 1997 and declined to 48% in 1999.The straight wire appliances were not used in 1993 while their utilization ratio reached to 30% in 1999.The total extraction rate of orthodontic patients was 48% in 1993,78% in 1995 and 34% in 1999. Conclusion:The choice of appliances was primarily due to nationalization of appliances and the knowledge of staff ,the tooth extraction rate was primarily due to the influence of orthodontic philosophy.
