《墨子》英译本中的文本误释与翻译策略

Text Misinterpretations and Translation Strategies in English Version of Mo Zi

《墨子》是阐述墨家思想的重要著作,其中政治思想、伦理思想、哲学思想、逻辑思想和军事思想都比较突出。目前,针对《墨子》李译本的研究为数甚少。结合具体实例,从李译本的翻译成果看,李译本中存在文本误释现象,因此,观察造成文本误释现象的主客观原因,探讨译者的翻译策略,正确解读文化差异尤为重要。

Mo Zi, as a vital masterpiece illustrating Mohism, implies prominent political thought, ethical thought, philosophical thought, logical thought as well as military thought. So far, few studies are conducted to Li＇s translation of Mo Zi. Combined with detailed examples, misinterpretations are found from Li＇s English translation achievement. Therefore, it is crucial to observe the subjective and objective reasons causing misinterpretation, to explore translator＇s strategies and to properly interpret cultural differences.
