Following 9/11 attacks , the Taliban regime in Afghanistan collapsed rapidly as a result of the Anti-Terror War led by the United States.Large number of Taliban militants and Al Qaeda affiliates fled into Pakistan's tribal areas ( FATA ) that exerts a big impact on the political and social matrix in the area. Many local militant groups , both old and new , have entered the scene and gone unchecked in the tribal area , with Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan ( TTP ) as a suggestive case. As a special political phenomenon , the so-called Talibanization began to spread from Pakistan tribal areas into its heartland , marked by heightened extremism , insurgencies and terror violence.
