摘要
美国重返亚太新战略的重要目的是,平衡中国在亚太地区日益增长的影响力,保持美国在亚洲的领导地位。面对美国的重返亚太战略,印度如何调整及回应美国的战略,不仅将在很大程度上影响印度长期以来非常重视的战略独立性、安全及其经济发展与繁荣,而且还将决定未来印中关系以及印美关系的发展走向。根据印度"不结盟政策"的传统,印度未来将在其政策选择中做出足够理性的决策。
The US 'rebalancing toward Asia-Pacific ' is widely considered as a strategy in responding to the increasing influence of China in the Asia-Pacific region.With US refering to India as a key partner in the unfolding agenda , India's policy responses to this initiative will determine the trajectories of both Indo-US relations and India-China relations.It will also affect India's strategic autonomy , security perceptions , and economic development.According to the author , India's national interests and geopolitical needs should be met by a reasonable policy choice based on its traditional non-aligned framework.
