The synthesis method of cefoxitin acid, development prospects and the current in the face of laboratory and industrial problems, main factors affecting the cefoxitin production and solutions, advantages and disadvantages of the industrial production equipment necessary conditions and various methods of analysis were intruduced. The route to the synthesis of low temperature hydrolysis and the feasible method of membraneL distillation were emphazed on. The use of wiped film distillation apparatus in the hydrolysis step, the industrial production and methoxy cephalothin acid sensitive characteristics were solved, which influenced the yield and the quality of the products.
