论“N级编码理论”的思想内涵、理论要义及问题

An Analysis of Connotation and Significance of Ye Shuxian's Encoding Theory and Its Limitations

"N级编码理论"体现了叶舒宪试图把"四重证据法"的共时性理论体系进行历时化的生成性表述的理论诉求。把"N级编码理论"与神话"置换变形"理论、后现代"互文性"理论以及类型学等理论加以比较,可以看出"N级编码理论"具有丰富的思想内涵、理论意义,对于文学研究具有较大的理论阐释效力。当然,目前它在理论建构上还存在着某些不足。

The encoding theory proposed by Ye Shuxian is the research achievement of his literary anthropology study since 2005. In the encoding theory,the＂four types of evidences＂ which is synchronic study originally is investigated diachronically. The encoding theory is found to be rich in connotation and of great significance when compared it with such theories as mythical＂displacement and transformation＂ theory, ＂intertextuality＂ theory, typology theory, etc.. It has great explanatory power for literature study. Some limitations,however,can be found in the encoding theory.
