The use of cyanocrylate tissue adhesive in corneal perforation and descemetocele

应用组织粘合剂治疗角膜穿孔和后弹力层膨出共 45例 ,粘合剂滞留于角膜上的平均时间为 6 0 d。 5 1%的病例单独使用粘合剂愈合 ;31%的病例仍需其他手术治疗才得到较好疗效 ;7%的病例并发了角膜感染。研究证明 ,组织粘合剂的早期应用是治疗角膜穿孔和后弹力层膨出的有效。

Forty five cases with either corneal perforation or descemetocele were treated with application of tissue adhesive,the average time of tissue adhesive in place were 60 days.51% of these caese healed with application of glue alone;31% cases got eventual better outcome with the addition surgical intervention;7% cases complicated with corneal infection after the glue applied.This study demonstrated that early application of tissue abhesive was reliable and effective method to treat the corneal perforation and descemetocele.
