摘要
本文以20世纪50年代上海商业经济与商业文化中的设计资源为考察对象,探讨上海在新中国建设初期具有的国家设计形象的"代言"作用,以此铺陈出半个多世纪前海派商业经济与文化对新中国设计产生的重要影响,这种影响既生根于20世纪三四十年代上海近代工业文明深厚的土壤,又获得新生国家注入的一股清新奋发之气。由此,新中国建设初期的设计领域由于有了这种影响力,使其在经济恢复初期便得到一定程度的弘扬,并在探索中获得继续发展的动力。可以断言,开展对上海近现代设计史的研究,其实就是对中国现当代设计史重要历史阶段的探究,所揭示的也正是中国现当代设计发展路径中的一条主线。
The paper investigates on the design resources in Shanghai commercial economy and culture in the 1950s and discusses Shanghai's role as an endorsement of the national design image in the initial period of construction of new China. The paper then elaborates the significant impacts that Shanghai-style commercial economy and culture have on the design of New China over half a century ago. Rooted in the deep soil of modern Shanghai industrial civilization from the 1930s to 1940s, the impacts are also injected with an air of freshness and prosperity from the newborn country. Therefore, the design field in the initial period of construction of new China made quite much progress when the economy initially recovered and achieved driving forces for development along the way of exploration. It is alleged that research on the history of modern Shanghai design is exactly exploration into the important historic periods of contemporary Chinese design. What the investigation discovers is the main stem of the development road of modern and contemporary Chinese design.
