An Approach to the Characteristics of Futures Contract

期货交易中的标准合约只是一个将来合同的范本 ,是交易者进行交易的一个计量单位 ,只有在实物交割时 ,才依它的格式成立买卖合同。可以认为 ,期货交易是交易者在期货交易所内通过公开竞价达成的合同 ,该合同的标的是交易者同结算所达成中介合同的行为 ,中介合同确立了交易者在未来以标准合约为范本而成立买卖合同的缔约权利和缔约义务。

The author of this paper thinks the standard form deed in forward business is a model contract for the transaction,a count unit for the traders.The deed will be concluded only at the time when the business is completed.In other words,forward business is a contract completed by the traders in the exchange through open bidding.The object of this kind of contract is the act of reaching intermediary contract by the trader and settlement center.The intermediary contract decides the rights and obligations of the traders in the future buying and selling contract taking the model of the standard form deed.
