Aiming at the existing problems of teaching methods of a series of courses of engineering structures, research and practice of teaching methods of its basic principles and structural design is carried out, and in the meantime, the research of both comparison of teaching methods and synthetical application result is carried out. This paper is of both theoretical and practical values in improve teaching methods of a series of courses of engineering structures.
