未来几十年是中国城市化的关键时期,城市化水平将会逐渐接近发达国家水平。城市化战略应该综合考虑大城市和小城镇的优点缺点,不仅考虑经济因素,也要考虑社会、科技、文化等因素。应该注重发展大城市和受其带动和辐射的小城镇共同构成的都市圈。发展都市圈的关键是建立其内部的有机联系,这样不仅具有经济意义上的产业聚集协同效应,还有科学技术上的促进作用以及伴随农民市民化的传统人文精神的稳步传承和现代价值理念的培育,从而增加长期经济增长潜力。

In the following decades,China urbanization will experience a critical period,for China urbanization level will gradually approach developed country level.In this context,urbanization strategy has important theoretical and practical significance.Due to irreversibility of urban development,the merits and demerits of big cities and small towns should be considered completely,not only through economic factors,but also through social,technological,cultural and political factors.We should pay attention to the metropolitan area which consists of big cities and small towns organically.Within the metropolitan area the key problem is establishing organic links,which not only decreases economic cost,and increases the benefits of industry agglomeration,as well as technological and cultural progress,but also promotes the traditional countryside farmers to modern citizen with improved values,Thereby increasing the long-term economic growth potential.
