Agriculture in China is a Great Branch of Learning

周恩来不仅是提出以农业为基础最早的人 ,而且是强调以农业为基础最多的人。周恩来之所以在长达四分之一世纪里不惜反反复复强调这一发展国民经济的重要方针 ,是因为他比较全面地揭示了农业同整个国民经济之间的内在本质联系。那么 ,如何发展农业 ?怎样提高农业的生产水平 ?周恩来又提出和制定了一系列正确的政策与措施。周恩来如此重视农业问题的原动因是 :第一 ,传统重农思想的影响 ;第二 ,马克思主义重农思想的熏陶 ;第三 ,对农村情况的熟悉与对农民的挚爱 ;第四 ,“总管家”的重担促使他更多地考虑农业问题。

ZHOU En-lai was the first person who put forward the idea that agriculture was the basis of everything as well as the person who placed more emphasis on this idea.In a quater of a century,ZHOU En-lai stressed this important policy on more than one occasion because he brought to light the inner essential relationship between agriculture and national economy.Then,how to develop agriculture?How to improve the production standard of agriculture?ZHOU En-lai raised and made a series of appropriate policies and measures.Meanwhile,this paper gives four reasons for ZHOU En-lai's stress on agriculture.
