以孝举廉的意义与可行性分析

以孝举廉是中国政治文化的历史传统。以孝举廉,不仅合目的性,也合规律性。以孝切入,以孝促廉,无论对党员领导干部的个人修养,还是对和谐家庭建设,乃至对整个社会的长远发展都起着积极作用。在现代语境下,以孝举廉必须坚持以辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义为指导,不能重走"举孝廉"的老路,必须以"新孝"促"新廉",同时要进一步加强和改进法律和制度建设,切实提高法律制度的严肃性和监督与制约的有效性。

Filial piety and honesty is the historical tradition of the Chinese political culture. It has not only purposiveness, but also regularity. Filial piety and honesty play a positive role in the cultivation of party members and leading cadres as well as the construction of harmonious families and even the long--term development of the society as a whole. In modern context, filial piety and honesty must adhere to the dialectical and historical materialism instead of retracing ＂give xiaolian＂. It is supposed to take ＂new filial piety＂ to promote the ＂new honesty＂. At the same time it is of paramount importance to further strengthen and improve the law and system construction, enhance the seriousness of the legal system and the effectiveness of the supervision and restriction.
