非英语专业学生阅读理解对写作技能的贡献

摘要 借助于阅读语篇、写作任务和开放式问卷,考察了非英语专业二年级学生英语阅读理解能力对写作技能的贡献。调查结果肯定了阅读理解对学生写作风格、词汇、总体思路、背景知识、连词以及拼写等诸方面的贡献。此外,在段落拓展、主题结构、开头和结尾等方面阅读对写作都有着积极的影响。被试还提到了面对阅读与写作时的困难,大多与阅读语篇的难度和话题的熟悉程度有关,部分被试在写作时过多地依赖阅读语篇。此研究结果对大学英语教学有着重要的启示。 With the help of reading passage, writing task and an open questionnaire, this study examined the relationship between EFL reading comprehension and writing performance among non-English majors of sophomores. The results confirmed the contribution of reading comprehension to students" writing style, vocabulary, general ideas, background knowledge, linking words and spelling checking. In addition, there was also a positive impact upon paragraph development, the structure of the topic as well as beginning and end of their composition. Some participants revealed difficulties concerning the relationship between the two skills. There are important implications for the results.
