摘要
覆盂城是高邮城的别称。高邮城之作覆盂城,其意所喻为高城、水城、小城,而其特殊的地形地势更使"覆盂"兼含平安之意。"覆盂"一名首次出现当在北宋中前期的高邮志,而诗人秦观的诗作则提升了"覆盂城"的知名度和影响力。
Fuyu City is another name for Gaoyou City.It is called Fuyu City,which is compared to High City,Water City and Small City and City of Peace with its special topography.Fuyu City is originated from Gaoyou Records in the early and middle Song Dynasty.And poet Qin Guan once quoted Fuyu City in his article,which promotes its publicity and influencing power.
