Most of evolutionary economists argue that Karl Marx is indeed a pioneer in the area of evolutionary economics. By re- viewing his thoughts on technological advance, technological innovation and institutional change, we could feel confident that Karl Ma- rx is an economists with rich evolutionary thoughts. Based on examining his contribution to modem evolutionary economics, it will be helpful for us to re - study and appreciate that Marxism economics has a certain great theoretic and practical implications, and enrich the theoretical connotation of Marxism economics.
