以人为本，创建优良的城市人行街道系统，是现代城市规划的重要内容。作者以深圳华侨城人行系统规划与建设为例，对城市人行街道系统的规划与建设实践作了有益的探索，有一定借鉴意义。
Taking the example of Overseas Chinese Town in Shenzhen, the article emphasizes the importance and urgency of walkway system, which is an integrated and systematic concept and features both living environment and pedestrian traffic. The combination of walkway system and urban public facilities will help establish urban public center and develop its potential.
