2006年．笔者到内蒙神华准格尔能源公司黑黛沟和哈尔乌素露天煤矿采访，当时神华准能大手笔采购了数十台载重3601]^（短吨）的矿用汽车。在当时的露天煤矿领域，神华准能采购这么多当时国内最大的矿用车，引来一片惊叹。而如今，大吨位矿用车在国内矿山使用已经司空见惯…·-

In the field of China’s open-pit mines , large mining equipment has always been dominated by mechanical excavators (hereinaf ter referred to as the electric shovel ) . Now, the open-pit mines in China have started to use large hydraulic excavators. Then, would large hydraulic excavators (known as the hydraulic shovels in mines, similarly hereinafter) be skin to the large trucks that were accepted by large open-pit mines and then widely used? What are the advantages and disadvantages of mining hydraulic excavators over electric shovels? How is it evaluated by the mine users? The author has visited many large open-pit mines, such as Shenghua Beidian, Datang International, Baiyinhua, Baiyunebo and Yunnan Hualian Zinc & Indium Mine, and thoroughly discussed the large hydraulic excavators and elec tric shovels in work ef f icienc y, at tendance rate, equipment performance, economy, maintenance and spare par t s base d on the ac tual use of mining users.
