Review on Revision of the Category of Dancing(J7) in Chinese Library Classification(5th Edition)

《中国图书馆分类法》(第五版)在舞蹈类目(J7)设置上对第四版作了一定改进和修订,但仍存在需要进一步完善之处。在舞蹈类目(J7)的修订上,《中国图书馆分类法》应密切结合学科发展现状和文献的发展水平,使类目主题清晰,避免概念混淆,保证舞蹈文献分类体系的合理性、科学性和前瞻性,方便分编人员的分类标引和读者的检索利用。

Chinese Library Classification（5th edition） has carried out a number of revisions on the category of dancing（J7） based on 4th edition, but there are still some problems need to be perfected. On revisions of the category of dancing （J7）, Chinese Library Classification should be closely com- bined with the present situation of the subject and the development of the literature, to make the category theme clear, and to ensure the dancing literature classification system is reasonable, sdentific and forward-looking, so as to make it easy to catalogue, index, retrieve and use for librarians and readers.
