To study the concept and components of acupuncture stimulation quantity, and to raise the research design of quantifying acupuncture stimulation. By discussing the concepts of acupuncture stimulation quantity in the past, it defined the acupuncture stimulation quantity and brought up the hypothesis through profound analyses that the three major components of acupuncture stimulation quantity should be the work of force, exchange of thermal energy, and transmission of electric energy.
