“五四”以后中国人对英源外来词的语言态度分析

Analysis of Language Attitude of the Chinese People toward English Loanwords after May 4^(th) Movement

在不同的语言和文化的接触中,必然会出现不同社会群体在不同时期出现不同的语言态度。本文通过历时和共时两个角度分析英源外来词。根据汉语的发展和中西文化交流史,汉语中的英源外来词的引进可以分三个不同时期进行历时考察,即"五四"至1949,1949至改革开放,改革开放至今。在这三个历史时期内,又通过共时的分析,对不同社会阶层和群体的语言态度加以分析。

In the contact of different languages and cultures, different languages attitudes are bound to appear among different social groups at different times. This paper makes an analysis of the English loanwords from synchronic and diachronic perspectives. In the history of the Chinese language development and the cultural exchanges between the East and West, the introduction of the English loan- words into the Chinese language can be investigated diachronically at three different periods, i.e. from May 4th Movement to 1949; from 1949 to the times of Chinese reform and opening up; from the reform and opening up to now. Within the three historical periods, language attitudes of different social classes and groups are analyzed synchronically.
