王世贞歌咏武当的诗歌有120余首。他的武当诗歌取材博瞻,遍咏名山;大胆批判,思想深邃;尽展才思,诗艺独步;诸体皆备,各臻其妙,极大地提升了武当诗歌的创作水平和在全国文坛的地位和影响,为武当文学的发展作出了独特的贡献。王世贞是名副其实的武当诗歌的集大成者。
WANG Shi-zhen wrote over 120 poems about Wudang Mountains. His poetry, with vast materials, bold criticism, profound thoughts, exhibits his wit and skill and greatly enhance the creation of Wudang poetry and its status and influence in the literary circles of China, and made a unique contribution to the development of Wudang literature. WANG Shizhen was a real master of Wudang poetry.
