The expression of Notch1 in prostate cancer tissues and its clinical significance

目的:研究Notch1在前列腺癌中的表达及临床意义。方法:免疫组化法研究Notch1在前列腺良性增生性病变组织与前列腺癌组织中的表达,分析Notch1表达与肿瘤Gleason评分之间的关系。结果:Notch1在前列腺癌细胞高表达,其表达趋势与前列腺癌的Gleason评分水平呈正相关。结论:Notch1蛋白异常表达可能在前列腺癌的生长、浸润和转移过程中起促进作用,可能成为一种反映前列腺癌生物侵袭性的标志物。

Objective：To determine the expression of Notchl in prostate cancer tissues and to estimate its clinical significance. Methods： Immunohistochemistry was performed to detect Notchl expression in malignant tumor of prostate and benign neoplasia. Results： Notchl was expressed with a much higher level in prostate cancer tissues with comparison to that in the benign neoplasia. And its expression trend was correlated with the malignant degree of the carcinoma. Conclusion： The abnormal expression of Notch1 could play a very important role in promoting the proliferation,invasion and metastasis of prostate cancer,and Notchl could be a marker to reflect the invasion ability of prostate cancer.
