水通道蛋白(AQPs)属于小型完整膜蛋白,介导水分子快速跨细胞和跨上皮转运。水通道蛋白5(AQP5)属于AQPs家族成员之一,广泛分布于机体各种组织,其过表达能诱导癌细胞分化,可能参与肿瘤血管形成和细胞迁移,并且与淋巴结转移和临床病理分期相关。近来研究表明,妇科恶性肿瘤中AQP5过表达与肿瘤浸润和转移、患者的预后相关。因此,研究AQP5的致癌机理有助于为妇科恶性肿瘤的诊断、监测和治疗探索新靶点。

The aquaporins （AQPs）are small, integral membrane proteins that facilitate rapid transcellular and transepithelial movement of water. AQP5 is one of the AQPs family members that was widely distributed in various tissues throughout the body. The overexpression of AQP5 can induce cell differentiation in cancer cells ,which may be involved in tumor angiogenesis and cell migration, and was associated with lymph node metastasis and clinicopathological staging. Recent studies have shown that the overexpression of AQP5 in gynecologic malignancies is correlated to tumor invasion, metastasis and prognosis. Therefore, research for the mechanism of AQP5 in carcinogenesis can contribute to the exploration of new targets for diagnosis, surveillance and treatment in gynecologic malignancies.
