摘要
大同地区出土了8件北魏朝廷颁发给各地太守和护军的铜虎符。马衡先生在《北魏虎符跋》一文中简要地考证了虎符的制作年代和使用情况。本文通过对这批铜虎符铭文的进一步考证,确定它们铸造和使用的年代应该在北魏太宗明元皇帝拓跋嗣神瑞元年到世祖太武皇帝拓跋焘太平真君九年之间,即公元414年至448年之间。
In ＂Essay on Tiger-Shaped Tallies of Northern Wei Dynasty＂, Ma Heng studies the date and function of eight tiger-shaped bronze tallies issued by the Northern Wei government to local governors and capital protectors （bujun） unearthed in Datong, Shanxi province. Through further researches on the inscriptions on these tallies, the current authors conclude that they were cast and used between 414 and 448 AD.
