髡残卒年新考及有关补述

An Updated Research on Kuncan's Year of Death and Other Issues

画僧髡残名重清初金陵画坛,并在中国绘画艺术史上占有一席之地。近年来关于他的研究未曾间断,但其卒年却迄今未有定说。本文据新见明末清初诗人钱陆灿的《调运斋诗集》,考定髡残卒于康熙十年(1671年)九十月间;并对二人的交游活动,髡残的佛教信仰、身后事等有所考述。

A renowned painter in Jinling in the early Qing dynasty, Kuncan is regarded an important figure in the history of Chinese painting. Although researches on Kuncan have been active in recent years, scholars fail to reach a consensus on his year of death. Based on the recently discovered Tiaoyunzhai Poems [调运斋诗集] by Qian Lucan （active in the late Ming and early Qing）, the current author concludes that Kuncan died in the ninth or tenth month of the tenth year of Kangxi reign （1671）. The author also gives details about friendship between Kuncan and Qian, Kuncan＇ s Buddhist beliefs and the situation after his death.
