This article introduces the design and operation of a continuous stran d vacuum filter used in treating the dust-cleaning wastewater of an oxygen top-blowing converter with volume of 50t in the No.3 Steel Plant of Ma'a nshan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. The operation is successful with advantages of high-efficiency, reliability and economic benefits.
