刘长卿诗中“芙蓉山”考略

Research on "Lotus Mountain" Mentioned in LIU Changqing's Poem

唐代诗人刘长卿《逢雪宿芙蓉山主人》一诗中"芙蓉山"地处何方一直成谜。据史书记载,湖南宁乡古代有两座芙蓉山,以大、小而区分。小芙蓉山即今青山桥镇境内的芙蓉山。大芙蓉山横跨宁乡、安化两县,其东在宁乡县黄材镇,现名城墙大山,其西延伸至安化县境内。大芙蓉山历史比大沩山还悠久,远古时期称青羊(阳)山,山下曾出土了举世闻名的青铜国宝——四羊方尊。刘长卿诗中"芙蓉山",是指大芙蓉山,今青山桥镇的(小)芙蓉山相传因刘长卿在此作该诗而得名。

The location of ＂Lotus Mountain＂ mentioned in Staying with the Master of Lotus Mountain at a Snowy Night written by LIU Changqing, a poet in Tang Dynasty always has been a puzzle. Based on historic records, theie are two Lotus Mountains which are dis- criminated by size. Small Lotus Mountain is the Lotus Mountain situated in current Qingshan Bridge Town. The history of large Lotus Mountain is even longer than Dawei Mountain and was named as Qingyang Mountain in ancient times, where the world famous national treasure ＂Four- sheep Bronze Wine Vessel＂ was unearthed. ＂Lotus Mountain＂ mentioned in LIU Changqing＇ s poem refers to large Lotus Mountain, and according to legend, current （small） Lotus Mountain in Qingshan Bridge Town acquired its name since LIU Changqing wrote this poet there.
