文本类型视角下的散文翻译补偿策略研究——以《白马湖之冬》英译为例

Compensatory strategies of prose translation from the perspective of text category theory:A case study of English translated version of Winter in White Horse Lake

根据纽马克的文本分析理论,以《白马湖之冬》英译为例,阐释了散文的文体特征、翻译原则及其翻译补偿策略。经论证,在散文中恰当地使用翻译补偿策略不仅能够准确传达原文语言之美,而且能够生动地展现其神韵之灵。

Based on Newmark＇s Text Typology Theory,this paper deals with the characteristics,translating principles as well as transla- tion compensation methods of prose translation through an analysis of prose Winter in White Horse Lake. It is found that if compensation strategies are employed appropriately, not only can the beauty of the original be accurately conveyed, but also can its spirit be vividly repro- duced.
