Much is yet to be done in the development and transmission of tacit knowledge by university li- braries. The new form of circulation of ＂books＂ by ＂living libraries＂, characterized by their ＂living books＂, offers a successful example of the transmission of tacit knowledge. Their success is of great significance to the service expansion and innovation in university libraries.
