摘要
人生的一个主要使命就是觉醒。现实中的绝大部分人都处于不同程度的昏睡和梦境当中。这里的睡梦不是指晚上躺在床上的睡梦,而是指人对身心内外的境况及其真相不觉察的生活状态,这事实上也是造成各种身心疾病和人生不幸的重要根源。觉醒就是让我们的心灵彻底醒来,认识真相,活出真我,类似于传统文化所讲的开悟、明心见性或超凡入圣。觉醒是一个通往心灵宝藏的漫长旅途,而觉察就是这个旅程的开始。更深入的觉察就是观心、正念、活在当下等,这乃是传统文化中各种修行修心方法的核心,也是到达觉醒目标的必经之路。
One of life's main mission is to awaken. Most people in reality are in different degrees of leth- argy and dreams. This does not mean lying in bed at night, but the unconscious state of life, which are in fact important causes of various physical and mental disorders. Awakening is to let our minds completely wake up and recognize the truth, similar to the enlightenment or find one's true self in traditional cul- ture. Awakening is a long journey toward the spiritual treasures, and awareness is the beginning of the journey. A deeper awareness is the mindfulness,living in the present and so on,which is the core of vari- ous traditional practice method and the only way to the awakening target.
