The Influence of Different Ecological Validities Presentations on Perceptual Anticipation of Table Tennis Players

生态学效度是运动领域研究需要考虑的重要因素,实验旨在探讨虚拟全景呈现方式和单一屏幕呈现方式下乒乓球运动员对发球旋转的判断是否存在差异。研究选取9名上海体育学院乒乓球专项二级运动员为被试,在运动员判断发球旋转时记录下他们的反应时、正确率和事件相关联电位数据。结果表明,运动员的决策过程在不同呈现条件下存在差异,更具生态效度的呈现方式下反应时更长,且完成认知加工过程所需的潜伏期及振幅也存在差异。

Ecological validity is an essential factor which to be reckoned in sports. This is a research aimed to test if there is difference of judgment towards twist serves by tennis player between the virtual presentation and that of a single screen. The 9 subjects selected are Level Two table tennis players from Shanghai Sports University. Recorded factors include reaction, accuracy and ERP at predicting the way of ball rotation. Results show that there is significant judgment difference between the ways of presentation and varied ecological validities which could have influence on the perceptual anticipation. The reaction time is longer in the presentation with higher ecological validity and there are also differences in term of latency and amplitude between two ways of presentation.
