"Male's status falls down but female's not" is a try that intellectuals of late Qing Dynasty built Female-National discourse through historical experience. The discourse context formed by implicit "national mother" and explicit "blood and iron heroine" shows the essential conflict of Female National discourse in the war novels in the late Qin Dynasty. The essential conflict is especial obvious in war novels at this time. Their traditional moral, standards bring outstanding talents under control, which shows Female-Na- tional discourse's essence of against feminization leading by "Male's status falls down but female's not": "blood and iron heroine" closely associated with nation and country is still a ramification of imperial power nr male power.
