中共二大之前马克思主义在中国的引入和推介、倡导和传播、尝试和运用,只是为后来的马克思主义中国化奠立了必要的理论与实践基础,并没有在真正意义上实现马克思主义中国化。中共二大依循马克思主义的基本学说和主张,考量中国革命的具体实际,第一次在全中国人民面前明确提出了反帝反封建的民主革命纲领,倡言组建"民主主义的联合战线"的主张,确定发动和依靠人民群众进行革命的全新方法,以谋求实现反帝反封建的革命目标,由此真正开启了马克思主义中国化的历史进程。

： The introduction and promotion, initiation and spread, experiment and application of Marxism in China before the second Representative conference of CPC only laid the necessary theoretical and practical foundation of the Sinicization of Marxism, but not meant the Sinieization of Marxism in real sense. Based on the Marxist funda- mental doctrines and opinions, the second Representative Conference of CPC examined the specific circumstance of Chinese revolution, put forward clearly the anti - imperialist and anti - feudal democratic revolution program for the first time, advocated organizing ＂the united batflefront of democracy＂, made sure new methods of launching revo- lution and relying on the masses of people to revolute, seeking to achieve the anti - imperialist and anti - feudal revolutionary goal. The second Representative Conference of CPC has really started the historical process of Sinicizaition of Marxism.
