西方有关德国涉藏历史的研究述评

Commentary on the Studies of German Tibet-Related History from the Western Academia

德国在中国的西藏地区从来没有直接的政治和经济利益,但是涉藏活动却极为丰富。20世纪90年以来,西方尤其是德国学者研究了德国历史上一些重要的涉藏人物和事件,取得很大成绩,但是还没有真正有关德国涉藏历史的全面系统梳理和研究。德国的涉藏史也是德国人认识和了解西藏的一部观念史。深入系统地研究德国的涉藏历史和西藏观,有助于我们认清当代德国涉藏的历史和文化心理根源,对全面认识近代西方与西藏的关系也有意义。

Germany has long-term ardors and rich activities to Tibet though it has never direct political and economic interests in Tibet.From 1990s German scholars studied some important German Tibet-related figures and activities in history,and have gained remarkable achievements,however those studies still cannot be summarized comprehensively and systemically.The German Tibet-related history also reflects the history of German cognition of Tibet.We should make an intensive and systemic study on the German Tibetrelated history and their Tibet cognition,for it is helpful for us to comprehend the historical, cultural and psychological origin of contemporary German Tibet-related activities and the relationship of modern western countries with Tibet.
