摘要
颅颌面生长预测是口腔正畸临床治疗学的重要内容。为此,作者运 用现代 计算机图像图形处理技术建立了一个全新的颅颌面生长预测系统。在该系统设计中,作者采 用独特的数学方法处理面部生长型与生长方向、生长量的关系,使之能简便地预测不同面部 生长型个体的颅颌面生长特点,而且该系统的自动化程度高,使用简便,不失为是口腔正畸 临床、教学和科研的重要辅助工具。
Natural craniofacial growth plays an important role in the eti ology of malocclusion.So, craniofacial growth prediction is very necessary in orthodo ntics.The present author have developed a new-typed computerized craniofacial g rowth predition system,which was designed in the general sense of craniofacial g r owth. According to a unique method, the system could automatically predict of cr aniofacial growth to different craniofacial growth pattern.It can be used as an auxilliary tool in clinical,teaching and researches in orthodontics.
